James is a freelance environmental project manager and Associate at Seasons Ecology. James has worked on a range of nature-based solution, local nature recovery and species conservation and reintroduction projects. His work incudes GIS mapping and spatial data analysis, options appraisals/feasibility studies, ecological surveys and project development and management.

James brings a wealth of experience from employment over the last 20 years with organisations including Exmoor National Park Authority, Forestry England, Blackdown Hills AONB and FWAG SW. After becoming self-employed in 2019 he has developed and led projects for Devon Wildlife Trust, Exmoor National Park Authority, National Trust, Woodland Trust, Wild Planet Trust, Wildwood Trust and Blackdown Hills and Quantock Hills National Landscapes.
